A Mobile Equipment Operator is someone who knows more than just
operating a machine.
Operating machinery implies knowledge of the equipment and skills to perform the job safely and efficiently.
From excavators to loaders, the variety of machines is rather very big.
Before starting his or her machine, an operator should know his or her machine. Conducting the Walk-around Inspection is one of the important tasks of an operator; to ensure the safety of the operator, the machine and colleagues and to prevent unnecessary "downtime" (costs) of the machine.
